For many years, technology company Imation ran a national Computer Arts Award. In 2003, I created the above piece for entry and won. I was invited to Imation headquarters where I had the chance to meet other finalists and tour art schools in the area. It was a fantastic experience and one that I remember fondly.

Contrary to popular belief, I am not the one pictured (the model is a friend of mine). Materials used to create it weren’t purely digital; pencil and marker were also used.
