For this piece, I wanted a heavily digital look but not digital in a grid-based, modernist sense; something a bit more sinister. I took hundreds of photos of various CRT-based monitors, television screens, nicely-composed shots from movies and TVs which I freeze-framed, and used them in a collage-like progress to establish a backdrop with a lot of depth. I also used these materials in constructing the logo and typography for the image.

The image of Eve is based on John Collier’s 1892 painting entitled “Lilith,” and was drawn in pencil and finished in Adobe Illustrator.
