The Rock Hard Times is a web site looking to become the Wikipedia or IMDB of rock and roll. Created by Mime Cuvalo of Nightlight Productions, they wanted me to create a more dynamically graphic, vector variation on a developer sketch of a stone with headphones.

For most screen applications I will opt for a more detailed look than in print media, but the bold color scheme of the web site coupled with the culture of the subject matter suggested a more “solid” look. The typography is a combination of serif and sans-serif fonts to extend the eclecticism through the logotype.
